when everyone arrived, aarons dad prayed for the food and for toby and we were underway! after a quick bite to eat, toby helped direct us in what he wanted to do next!
the piniata was at the top of his list...so all of the little ones took their best shots at it. they each got several turns and the only damage was a loose leg...so, big cousin forrest stepped in to help it along!
after their candy bags were full, we moved on to cake and ice cream!
very proud mom...enjoying lots of ice cream...for the baby, of course!
with cake in hand, we watched toby open his gifts. the first one was a card from adin!
sitting surrounded by tobys and clothes. our kids are very blessed when it comes to gifts and we are very thankful.
the last gift was his new bike! he has been wanting to be on adins a lot, so he was happy to finally get his own!
he didn't waste any time trying it out! i think that the boys will learn to ride without their training wheels together now!
once we were outside, we just stayed there! we had coffee, fireworks, and just watched the kids (old and young) play the night away!
then came the goodbyes! we were leaving the next morning for the beach...
the boys made it back inside, where they played bendaroos for awhile and then hit the sack!
it was a fun party and i was so glad for the help of the mothers in getting ready. i am moving a little slower and not as able to bend and move...so, i definitely needed it this time around! i can't believe that i have a 4 and 5 year old now...where did that time go?!
