easter morning started really well this year! the kids slept in because we were not going to church until 11:00. when they woke up, they were off to find their easter baskets. they are too good at this already!
in their basket, they had a note that told them to look out the bedroom window...adin read his and tobys was more "pictures" for him to read! they figured it out!
here is what was waiting in the driveway!
we were off to church and then to my moms for easter. maisy in her easter dress, hat, and pocketbook...which contained a toy and a binkie!

maisy got a candy crown for easter since she was dressed like a princess. she wore it well! here she is doing her princess wave:

aaron...i am sure he is thinking that he would never be buying anything like this...until now!
maisy makes her rounds...first uncle randy
then aunt katie and uncle marlin fed her some applesauce
we had a great lunch and then the kids were ready for the egg hunt! we have a tradition...we each bring some candy, then we all sit and fill the eggs together, then the parents hide them and the kids find them! even the older kids still like doing this! mom even hid a money egg this year before we got there...on the roof! ronita found it, but david retreived it!

we were also celebrating my brothers birthday...he got birthday cupcakes this year!
it was a fun day. it was the most exciting that the boys are understanding the real meaning of easter now. they were able to understand that Jesus died on friday, but came back on sunday. what a praise!
