our sunday was a busy one this week! we went to church, then to lunch with friends...then we were to be at moms at 2 for my nephews birthday party. with a few minutes to spare after lunch, we took the boys in the ice fest so they could go on the ice slide! it was SO cold that a few minues was plenty! they each got 1 ride and loved it! adin was first and he went by himself:

we parked very close to the slide, so we only passed 2 ice sculptures on the way back to the car and snapped a few pictures! there are sculptures all along the main street for ice fest, but we just saw the others from the car!

it was fun to drive through town this weekend and see all of the people walking along the streets and in the downtown businesses. they had popcorn and hot chocolate and it just seemed like a small town again! after our quick adventure out of the car...we headed to colbys 17th birthday party!
it is hard to believe...i remember when he was my boys age! if you notice his easy mac...he loves it and adin saw it at the grocery store and picked it for him! adin is going to be a great gift giver.
