i love the first day of vacation! everyone wants to do everything and you have the energy to do it all! we were up, had breakfast, and were off to the beach! this was maisys first time to a beach...she was less than impressed with the sand. this was pretty much her reaction every time we put her down to touch it!

we finished up at the beach, had some lunch, and headed over to check out the pool. dad carrying the little lady...
it was a nice pool and the kids really loved swimming in it! they are life jacket free this year, but it was a lot of fun to get in with them and play. maisy was much happier with the pool!
since it was fathers day, we all got back and cleaned up to go out to a nice dinner! me and maisy...ready to go!
it was also our 12 year anniversary and what better was to celebrate than with crab legs!!
at this buffet, they had crawfish on the menu. i have a nephew that doesn't eat anything...so, i bet him $10 if he would eat it...to no surprise...i didn't have to pay that out! the little crawfish made it around the table and the reactions were funny!
we bought the boys nintendo ds's since it was a long trip...they certainly helped to make the ride there a lot more fun for them. we also allowed them to have them at the restaurants...so, we could crack crab legs for as long as we wanted! the little crawfish ended up with aaron...and he ate him!
