my little girl is done nursing. i am sad, yet ok. i miss the time with her a lot...but i know that she is a big 1 year old now. we were not sure how she would transition...whether to try a bottle or cup, whether to give some formula or milk. so, we decided on formula in a bottle until her 1 year check up...and to our surprise, she loved it. i have a suspicion that she was not getting enough the last few days of nursing...so, i believe that she was just thrilled to be getting something! it was an easy switch. we are now cleared to go to milk...but she isn't a fan yet...we are mixing formula and milk and will get there eventually! for now...i like to see those adorable little hands holding her bottle and looking up at me.
