memorial day weekend

i had hoped that we would take the kids and go away for memorial day...but with aaron travelling so much for work, he didn't really want to go and we got way too late in making plans. so, a few days before the weekend, we decided to just fill out time here doing some fun stuff! on saturday we had friends from bedford over...it was great to catch up and the kids had a great time! on sunday, we had a picnic with my mom and my brother and his family. mom got the kids a badmitton set. they didn't really get it, but had fun hitting their "birdies" at each other!

it was good to relax around the house!
