the school room is finally coming together! aaron has been putting furniture together and it is just about ready to get started! the room will get french doors in the next few weeks and we will add a white board...then all we need is some materials, some posters, some supplies...and we will be underway! we are not planning to get into the actual lesson plans until later in the fall, but we are doing some "practice" lessons now! the boys got to pick their colors of desks and chairs. today we did nametags for on the front, worked on letters, and did a craft. they are so ready to go!
they are both doing a great job with their letters and numbers...they can recognize and write them. they did their names for on their desks:
these are activity/ sticker books that they have been working on over the summer. they are so excited to be in school! adin is starting kindergarden. toby will do some pre-kindergarden work...as much as his attention span will allow for this year!
it is a little nerve-wracking to be having the baby, working on the house, and starting school...but i think that we will pull it off!
