on saturday, there were lots of things going on around town. first, we had to get adins make-up, make-up school pictures taken. he had missed school pictures, but we were planning to get them done on the make-up day. well, then he had the flu...so, we missed that too. luckily the studio left us come in and get them done and he will still be in the yearbook! after that, we went to a local christian bookstore for their fall fest. the boys made wreaths:

with goody bags in hand, we were headed home, but noticed an event happening on the way...when we stopped in, it was a pig roast at a local creamery! so, we had a great lunch and they had free pumpkin painting for the boys!
i love a day when you can just drive around and find fun things to do!
