after a great christmas morning, we were up and ready and off to my moms for christmas lunch! maisy all bundled up with a new toy!
as soon as we arrived...she started her rounds. this is miranda and maisy...they only 2 girls of the grandchildren and they are the oldest and youngest.

adin grabbed these deer antlers that someone just had mounted from a recent kill...i didn't catch whose they were, but he thought he looked good with them on!
my brother wanted a new family pic because his oldest son, austin (2nd one from left) is leaving for the army in april. they are missing noah, but maybe we can photoshop him in...haha.
this was all of the grandkids...minus noah.
we finally got around the table for our christmas pig belly! this has become a tradition at christmas and it always takes us back to some of our loved ones that are no longer here to celebrate with us. toby showing off his olive fingers...

after some great desserts, we headed home in the snow. maisy was happy to be comfy in her pjs again!
i must say, i think that i enjoy christmas even more now that i am a parent. it is so fun to see the kids with that excitement in their eyes. i am thankful to be able to spend the day with all of our families and just enjoy the company, the food, and a savior that came here as a precious child to save us all. what a magical season.
