some pics of january
now that the holidays are over, we are getting back into "normal" mode here...although "normal" keeps changing too! adin is back to school and really liking it. toby is my big helper when adin is at school, but is glad to have adin to play with every other day. maisy just keeps getting bigger and learning new things. she is 4 months, about 17 lbs, smiles a lot, and likes to hold things and play. she can fall asleep anywhere and with plenty of noise...very helpful around here!
we finally have a finished house! the kids got a new play room, which was one of the best decisions ever! they have their toys, their computer, and the wii up there...so, it helped clear out the living room a little! we have to be careful or they will spend all day in there though.
the bumbo is a great invention...i didn't have this for the boys, but mai pretty much loves it! she hangs out with all of us in her little seat...
a date night with mom and dad...maisy wore her first mini skirt. she is so cute! the boys were with miss kristy...they love their "dates" with her!
what a smile!
as i write this, i know that the cowboys are no longer in the playoffs. but, when this was taken, they were...so we were still hopeful! maisy and dad...
all of my cowboys fans!
at this party, we had a fry daddy to do the wings. adin wanted to make french fries...mind you, they have never had them fried, i always do them in the oven. he made this little paper bag so they would be like mcdonalds. he is so creative!
maisy now holds things...so, the boys like to give her things to see if she will hold them. i found her with a wii remote:
she sits on the counter and i hung her rings from the cubbord door above her. she loves to grab them now!
i came downstairs to find the boys having a breakfast picnic. they seriously can get up, sneak down, and have breakfast without me?! not a fan of this though, so i have been trying to make them wake me up before going downstairs!
