we found some free things to do again this saturday! we did sleep in this week till 9...even though the boys were up and playing the wii by then. here is maisy after a freak powder accident:
first stop was home depot to make a rain gauge...
these were pretty easy for the kids to put together...here is the finished "house" without the little rain catcher on the front. (you got that when you went up for your reward pin.) we had seen some of the kids doing a second project (the one from last month), so when adin went up, he asked if they could do that one too!

toby got a little bored with project 2, so he was hammering a sticker onto his board.

next stop was michaels to make a "yarn buddy". the boys again said that they really liked this. toby was a little challenging because he wanted to pull all of the yarn out...but he did enjoy cutting some junk yarn into little "spaghettis". we got our buddies made and this was the best picture i could get...haha!
when we got home it was "warm" compared to the freezing temps that we have been having. so, it was everyone outside time to run off energy! aaron cleaned out the cars and the boys made a picnic

for their picnic, the boys came up with a radio, grapes, chairs...even a little one for maisy!
boys will be boys!
