we wrapped up tobys birthday party and went right to last minute packing for the beach! we were up in the morning and ready to go! grandma kept the little ones while we packed up...
we had a relaxing drive and arrived late afternoon...the kids were off to the pool while the moms went to the grocery store and made dinner. we had the evening to settle in and gear up for the big first full day at the beach. and they were up and ready! we had a great first day...we were up, had breakfast, and off to the beach! the boys were right in the water...and maisy suddenly liked the sand!
we had a few extra people with us over the weekend...miss kristy came along and uncle randy and aunt nita stopped by to stay over. so, we had a group of us on the beach that day!
my THREE kids! it is hard to believe that we didn't have "little lady" yet at this time last year. she certainly liked playing with her brothers this year!
and off she went! but never alone...
uncle randy built his usual "moat". toby was hanging with the ladies while adin helped. maisy liked being in the hole!
she must have forgotten that she wouldn't even touch the sand with her foot only 3 weeks earlier?!
back at the beach house for lunch...the kids were playing games with poppy...
and maisy watched on! ok enough of that inside stuff...we were off to the pool!
miss kristy and ronita & randy watched the kids that night while we went to an "adult dinner". we haven't done that for about...7 years! it was nice...but we were all missing those kids!
