saturday festival and picking pumpkins

on saturday...almost 3 weeks since we brought mai home...i started to feel like getting up and around! there was a festival at another church in town, so we decided to try taking the kids in...and when i say we, that was me, aarons mom, and my mom! i got in the shower around 10 and we left the house at 1. i forgot how long it takes to get things together with a baby! but, we made it. the boys headed straight to the inflatables!
i seriously want one of these set ups at home...

i think that the things they were holding weighed as much as them!

toby took a liking to this little goat. he was feeding him straw!

after some rides and some games, i was spent. we headed to arbys and ate in the car...just to relax a little! then we drove over to benders so the boys could get pumpkins.

the kids could dig in the hay and find a gourd. adin was more interested than toby...so, he got one for both of them.
toby was more interested in feeding hay to the horses!

they didn't spend a lot of time picking their pumpkins. actually, adin picked them while toby stayed with his horses! they did a run through the hay maze...

when we went up to pay for their pumpkins, they each picked a mini pumpkin for maisy. she spent the afternoon sleeping away in her sling!

when we got home, we all picked a couch...that was more activity than i had in awhile! later that night...adin showed all of their pumpkin patch finds to aaron when he returned from florida.
