many of you know that i was not the happiest when i found out we were having a girl. MY plan was that i would be the "mother of boys"...which i am...but the little girl didn't fit that?! it took me several weeks to get ok with this...although, really, what was the alternative? well, that stupid thought and feeling only lasted until they held her up and i saw that little face and heard the "mad cat" cry...then i knew she was all mine. i can't imagine life without my little girl. i am so happy that God doesn't always listen to our bright ideas...but instead blesses us beyond what we even know what to ask for. i love her...just like i love my boys. i am truely so blessed. me and my girl:

and the boys...they love her too...they really REALLY do!
and she loves them. her smiles usually come when they are talking to her.
i didn't get a shot of aaron with her...he was taking the pictures and i didn't take one of him. but he loves her too! well, we were off to church when we were taking these shots...and maisy was ready to get in the car seat and get to sleep!
