we started friday at the beach with doughnuts from the fractured prune. aaron and his dad found this place a few years ago and it has become a staple when we are at the beach. so, adin and aaron went for them while me and toby held down the fort.
after breakfast...probably because he was high on sugar, adin started jumping on the beds. normally, he would have gotten yelled at for this...but, hey, it was vacation and it looked fun.
so, toby joined in...still surprised they were not getting told about this...
then when we came along, they were really in heaven!

the boys were slightly confused as to why we were not going down to the beach...so, we took them out to show them. it was freezing!!! but still beautiful!

and shop we did! we had to alternate aaron keeping kids in cars, coffee breaks, peeing in cups in the car (the kids, not us), snacks, movies, etc...but we accomplished just about all of our christmas shopping! i enjoyed it a lot...thinking that i am probably the only one though...
