poor adin

poor adin has been sick since thursday. he was to have some little friends over to play and i called them and said he had a fever and sore throat...well, that is still the case. his fever has been running around 103 and we have had trouble keeping it down, even with tylenol and advil. last night, we took him to the hospital lab for a strep test...which got him pretty worked up and he threw up everywhere. :( but, it was negative, so we went into the doctor's office today to get checked out and went to the lab again for a flu test...also negative. so, next stop was an x-ray to check for pneumonia...also negative...and that is where we are now. aaron and adin are leaving the doctors office now and we don't know a lot more than we did earlier today...other than adin is exhausted, miserable, and anxious. he hates having to go to tests and appointments and wants us to tell him exactly what is going to happen...minute by minute...but sometimes that makes it worse! the doctor thinks that he had the flu and is now on the upswing. his fever is holding around 99 today. so, we are praying for a better night tonight with no 103 fever. toby is really missing his buddy.
