well, much to my distaste, we have been getting snow for the last 2 days. the boys must have gotten some recessive gene because aaron and i both hate the snow and being cold...but they seem to like it. so, they were waiting ALL day yesterday for aaron to get home to take them out. now before you think that i am a horrible mother...on top of hating snow, i have also been sick...and just could not get them all bundled up to go out, knowing that i would have the task of undoing it all when they were crusted with ice and snow afterwards. so, they waited...and as soon as he got home, out they went!
i think that had i let them out an hour before he got home, they would have had the driveway shoveled...it is nice when your kids LOVE doing WORK! they shoveld and shoveled...
i stopped cooking dinner long enough to run out to see them and take a few pictures...

It's about being a kid. I loved playing in the snow when I was a kid, but it has lost some of it's thrill for me. Something about being cold and wet takes some of it away.
