the night before we left on vacation...the boys thought that they just had to pick their little orange pumpkin. while it is a few months early, we knew it would keep them busy while we packed, so they got to do it!
aaron helped them clean it out...because we are big fans of roasted pumpkin seeds and wanted to make sure they got into the oven and not all over the lawn.
they especially liked making their little pumpkin man "throw up" the seeds.
after we got everything we wanted from our little pumpkin man...they went punkin chunkin...pretty much throwing that poor little pumpkin around until he was in 1 inch pieces all over our yard!
we have one more little pumpkin on the vine...so we are hoping to hold him off until october. then we will repeat this post again!
