sunday morning we hit the beach again, then went back to the park for a cook out. we now know that the little grills that you buy that are a pan with a rack with the charcoal included are NOT a good idea...we had mostly cooked turkey dogs and raw hamburgers...but we are sides and it was enough until we got back!
after a short stop at the beach, we had our only storm of the week. so, they cleared the beach and we thought it would be a good time for some boardwalk fries!
above the boys are doing their "happy dance" in the ocean. below, looking like a postcard. i do have to mention the chinese family that set up camp by us on this day. they were catching the little sand crabs that look like cockroaches. i think that it was the first time that they ever saw them or else they are some kind of delacy because they would laugh and jump and catch them and put them in buckets. the boys literally watched them for an hour...and so did we.
happy mom and dad 10 years later. we went to ocean city on our honeymoon and stayed just a few streets north of where we stay now.
