adin the elf

this week, my mom took adin to spread a little christmas cheer to some shut ins. she does sewing for some ladies that live in local retirement homes and wanted to take them a basket. she knows that adin loves to do things like this...so she picked him up and they were off for an afternoon away. (meanwhile, toby got to go to the bump and dent alone with me and "aunt nita" for the first time ever!)
i only wish that i would have sent the camera with mom to get some pictures of their 3 visits. adin handed out the baskets, waved to many residents, sang every time he was asked, and gave out many hugs and kisses. i am so proud of him and his love of people...especially older folks. he loves going to visit and is not weirded out at all by hospitals or nursing homes. the candy that got slipped to him was a bonus too! great job adin...and a great afternoon with grandma!
