MRI accomplished

it has been quite an ordeal to get in to the appointment to get my mri done. i was to go on wednesday and they called me to change the appointment because the machine was broken. (glad i wasn't in when that happened!) then i was to go on saturday morning and, after a very late night wrapping gifts, i slept through the appointment. i was so annoyed at myself for that one. but, they were nice enough to get me in on sunday afternoon...so, after a great lunch in sunday school and a very quick sunday nap, i headed in.
overall, it wasn't a bad experience. it was a slow day, so i didn't have to wait. i didn't mind the small space, but the noise was REALLY loud...even with ear plugs. at one point, it was so loud and constant that i thought i was going to have a seizure if it didn't stop...well, not really, but it was pretty annoying! i had a mirror above my head, so it felt like i was sitting up looking at the window where the technician was. that helped a lot. i dozed off a little at one point, but the noise took care of that quickly! it didn't seem like it had been 20 minutes and he got me back out. so, now i am hoping to get a great report in a few days. i had to have this done because of my migraines...and specifically the week long one that i had this month. they are just making sure that it is just migraines...and we are praying that there is nothing to be concerned about. just getting something "on the record".
