well, i was the first one to wake up on christmas morning...around 9:30...and i knew that we needed to stay on a slight schedule for the day. so, we woke adin up first and told him that come of his cookies were missing...he jumped right up and saw nanny in the hall and was very excited. we got toby up next and he went right over to get poppy up...the last one sleeping, mind you!
all smith kids have to get their pictures taken on the steps before they can go down to the christmas tree...so, aaron and the boys made their first stop there. i haven't seen them all, but i hear there are pictures of aaron clear back from when he was our boys age doing this...

the kids opened every single thing while we ate breakfast. aarons parents went back to bed and we headed up to my moms for lunch, gifts, and games.
