a bunch of sick people

any of you that are local know that we have been sequestered to our house for most of 2 weeks. the kids have traded ilnesses and i have been stuck dealing with allergies. i have generally always had them on and off, but this fall has been horrible! so, i have a slew of new pills, sprays, inhalers, etc to try...slowly on the mend. now the boys...they have been a different story. when aaron was away 2 sundays ago...i woke up to adin wiht pink eye and toby with an ear infection. so, we treated them all week and then this sunday woke up with toby having pink eye and adin with a fever. a doctors appointment this week showed that tobys ear infection didn't clear up with the antibiotics...so, he is on them again. adin had a strep test, but it was negative. and they both have hand, foot, and mouth. :( there were signs up at our church that someone had it...so, with 2 kids, the odds were decent that one of them would get it...and they did. adins was confined mostly to his throat, but tobys was on his face and hand.
i tried to get a picture...and he did his usual faces for me. the rash was bumps around his mouth and red cheeks.
then he turned the camera on me...just what i want, a picture of me in sick form...but he is so darn proud when he takes a picture!
