i read a great idea in another blog today about doing family nights with your kids. some ideas they gave were making your own pizzas, playing board games, movie night, etc. i knew this was something aarons family had always done on friday nights...so, when he got home and i pitched the idea, he was all for it. so, tonight was our first official "family night"...although it was a lot like most of our nights! first we had a soccer game...
aaron was the goal...
then they were coming towards me...i was the other goal
soccer still turns info football when played at home. luckily adin doesn't do this on the field!
i was trying to make a goal, but adin was the goal and he fell over and then toby picked up the ball?! after our "soccer game", we had races around the yard and played on the slide for awhile.
we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood...mostly to see what houses were for sale this week! when we got back, it was off for ice cream cones at the meadows. (good thing i got the walk in to even that out!) it was a good night...but i can't say that any night isn't good when it is with aaron and the boys.
