party central!

friday night we celebrated several things with my family...aaron's birthday, austin's birthday (my nephew), toby's poop party (for finally being potty trained), and adins prayer party (for asking Jesus in his heart this week). so, the night began at montezumas...our favorite mexican restaurant. we got the double sombrero service as they sang to both of the birthday boys.adin had told the waiter about 50 times that it was his dads birthday...i think that he just wanted to make sure that fried ice cream was coming!
austin with his cousin, miranda and girlfriend, kelsey.
after a very big dinner, we headed back to our house to continue to party! first we had quizzes about aaron and austin. kelsey got the prize for knowing austin the best and mom got the prize for knowing aaron the best. then we did some games with toby...everyone had to pull off toilet paper in the length that they thought we be from finger tip to finger tip with his arms out. then, as our final farewell to diapers, we passed around several with melted candy bars and everyone had to guess what each of them were. (by any means they wished...smelling, tasting...) ronita was smelling...
mom was smelling...and ended up with diaper matter on her nose...
miranda going for a taste...
austin enjoying a lick...
one of tobys poop party gifts was a new roll of toilet paper...which he promptly took to the right room!
and new diego underwear!
in celebration of his prayer, adin got a new veggie tales movie...complete with a pirate hat and sword, so that he could be a "pirate that don't to anything" too!
a very happy party planner!
and a very proud mom!
happy 19th birthday austin!
happy 34th birthday aaron!
as promised, a shot of the jello pottys.
the night ended with several wii competitions. here adin was boxing grandma.
i love to get a group together and have a great time. i am thankful for each of these celebrations and for what they mean to us. another year with someone we love, not having to by diapers for now, and most importantly...a son choosing to follow Christ. i am a blessed mom!
