back home with toby and adin

while we were in hershey with toby, adin got to go with several people...he spent the night with aunt nida and uncle randy, then went to the quachs for the morning, then went with grandma for the afternoon! we met up with him when we got home and he got to spend a little time with dad before aaron had to leave for baltimore. thankfully aarons first meeting on monday was able to be held without him...but he had to get there as soon as he could afterwards. so, grandma stayed with toby while me and adin ran to the grocery store for medication and supplies! when we got home, nanny (aarons mom) arrived to stay and help for the week! (MUCH needed help!) toby quickly learned to use the mouse with his left hand! toby being a very compliant post surgical patient! we were very concerned as to whether he would stay still and keep his arm up, but i think there is enough pain that he doesn't try to get away with anything...he just does it! he is watching lots of cartoons and movies and does great eating right there. we started out carrying him for everything, but he has graduated to short walks...but is very off balance.

since toby is laid up, adin is minus a play partner. he is wandering around seeming lost...so me and nanny are trying to come up with projects! he colored eggs on tuesday...

he cut up strawberries for lunch, set the table, and folded the towels. hey, this is working out ok for me!
"picnic" lunch with nanny...he set up the card table and has had us eating there for every meal. it is actually a great idea because we can turn the couch and have toby with us.

i am just thankful to be at home with my boys. it can be a little tiring...especially as toby is feeling better and getting a little sassy...but i wouldn't have it any other way!
