so the 3 days of having the arm up ended on thursday and it was like tobys internal clock knew this...because he was ready to be UP by then! we started off just moving him around on the couch...adin was concerned about this because he likes the rules to be followed!
one of adins projects to keep busy was puzzles...
once toby started getting up and around, he was able to come to dinner at the table. we had him all rigged up with a car booster seat and pillows and had his arm covered with towels. he did a great job!
big brother needed to be rigged up too...
i find evidence on my camera a lot...apparently toby was video taping adin while adin was taking pictures of toby. i haven't checked the videos yet...but i have a good idea of what i will find!
each day, toby was up and around more...he even made it to the counter for lunch. we covered his arm with one of aarons socks to help him remember not to use his hand and to keep the cast clean. adin needed one too that day!
so now we are on saturday...and toby is next to impossible to slow down. he is up and moving just like normal. we will be very glad to get that hard cast on monday...he makes us nervous! aaron even caught him headed up the slide today...at least he isn't afraid!
big brother needed to be rigged up too...
