day 2 with maisy

day 2 with maisy was pretty relaxing. i was very excited to be able to get all tubes and wires off of me and get a shower! i was able to sit up and get around more, which always makes you start to feel more normal. after that first shower, we were all in pink and ready to hang out for the day. the boys were in and we had several visitors. maisy did her usual...sleep!
she had a few tests that day too...i had just gotten her back from the nurse on this one...she looks like she had been crying.
it is hard not to just stare at her...even when she is sleeping. she makes the cutest faces and i just contstantly feel so blessed when i am holding her.
later in the morning, we got moved to a maternity overflow room. there were LOTS of babies making their entrances that day...so, since we were done with that part and doing well, we were able to move. it was a smaller room and wasn't as nice, but it was quiet and we weren't there that long! maisy spending some time with dad...
aaron was very excited because they brought him a cot to sleep on. normally the dads get very uncomfortable recliners...but he got lucky in the overflow room! maisy was trying it out with him!
she is so tiny...i love her hands
and feet
the second night went well. i still hate to fall asleep in there though, so me and aaron took turns sleeping for a few hours. at least when you have the computer, you can waste time and not realize hours have gone by and it is morning again!
