my baby is almost 3! yesterday we celebrated at our favotie mexican restaurant, montezuma's, with my family. since we also had done this with adin, the boys were watching and waiting for the "big hat" to come to our table. so, after we all finished up, the guys came and sang and toby got fried ice cream the size of his head...even though we were going back to the house for more cake and ice cream!
big brother had to get in on the hat action...they love wearing that thing!
we went with "corn cob" cakes for toby...i saw them in a magazine and knew he would like them. he is our fruit and vegetable kid...it isn't often that you have to disguise cake as vegetables for kids to eat them, huh? well, it worked...he was high on jellybeans by the end of the night.
finally a picture where he isn't doing something weird! this was a cell phone that we got him that he has been talking on since. i think that he feels like his dad now. it even rings for him to answer...a lot.

ReplyDeletejudy- i found those cupcakes in family fun...not sure if they are on their website. but it was just white cake and white icing. then yellow and white jellybeans that you line up in rows. the cutest thing is the butter...you take yellow starbursts and microwave them until they are soft...then pull them a little and they look like little pats of butter!
