adin's first soccer game

well tonight was the night that adin has been waiting for...his first soccer game with U6 soccer with dad as the coach! we had a fast dinner to allow plenty of time to get him dressed and ready and take some pictures before heading to the field. as you can tell...he is very proud of his uniform and soccer ball!

we had a slight issue with the size of his uniform...so, a quick trip to walmart fixed the shorts and we have another shirt ordered...hopefully it gets here before his "official" pictures.
toby really wanted to play too...but understood when he was "a little bigger" next year, he would get to play too. they should be on the same team for 1-2 years, which will be a lot of fun! until then, he was happy to pose with big brother and then busy himself at the field!

team introductions and instructions...this was aarons first time coaching such little people. he had to bring down his expectations to just getting them all running the right direction!

practicing making goals. we will need a little more practice at this skill! (and the going the right direction skill!)

toby needed a little more entertainment. he was picking "tickle flowers".

tonight adin played his friend andrew. (and tried to help his team out a little twice!) they were to be on the same team, but because of who knows what...they didn't get together. :( they had fun being on the field together tonight though!
