ducky day

after our sunday naps today...well, me and the boys...aaron decided to go out in 90 degree heat and play soccer...but anywho, when we were up and around, we went out to feed the ducks. with our old bread in hand, the boys jumped out and headed to the water...i wanted to get a cute brotherly love picture before they went at it...

aaron was the bread keeper...because toby was handing out whole pieces. the ducks were VERY friendly...so our little loaf of bread went very fast!
as you can see...i am not as fond of feathered things...so, i stayed as far away as possible...but the boys discovered that if they threw the bread my direction, the ducks would come to me...lovely children!
out of bread...so, just watching them for a few minutes before heading out.

what better to do than run and chase them...towards me, mind you!

the boys wanted to go into the horse run, but there was one getting ready to come in...so, they just posed "in the sky" for me and then we headed out for ice cream at the meadows.

as we pulled in, my sister and her family were here. her and randy just got home from a weekend trip to the beach for her birthday. when she got home, miranda and forrest had baked her a birthday cake, so they brought it over and we had dessert...again!
