last sunday, the boys brought home their little sunday school papers...which included a recipe for edible playdough. i accidentally threw the papers away...but i remembered the basic recipe, so i looked it up online and found it. i thought it would be fun to try...
so we measured and mixed...
and then i put it on the counter to add the food coloring. this is when we noticed that there might be a problem...it was just puddles?! i followed the recipe...but i am wondering if smart balance= margerine. i am thinking not and that was the runny factor. so they swirled the color in anyway.
and ate it...it tasted like runny icing...would have been great over a brownie!
and mixed and mixed...and got knees, feet, and everything else in it. so i cleaned that "project" up
and we resorted to cutting shapes out of cheese. i know that there is a playdough recipe with peanut butter...maybe i will try that one next!
