church festival

many of you know that aaron left on tuesday morning for california...so, me and the boys have been on our own all week. (and counting the days until monday!) we have stayed VERY busy, so it has gone fast and has been a lot of fun. the boys seem to be extra helpful knowing that i can't do everything myself around here! today was the first day that i didn't really have anything planned for us to do. we went to kohls to shop, then to get gas, then to the carwash...and we were only up to lunch time. so, we decided to stop by a church festival...not our church, but open to the public! there was free food, a petting zoo, tons of games for kids, blow up slide and moon bounce, dunking booth, snow cones, live music, etc... this was a little train made out of some kind of plastic barrels...they loved their ride on it!
last but least, we visited the balloon guy. pretty good use of 2 hours...then we came home for cold baths!
