ok, for some reason, most all of my MANY tomatoes are still green?! but, i did have about 10 and my neighbor has about 1000...so, between my modest gathering and some of her surplus, i am making my first batch of spaghetti sauce today. it has been awhile since i did this and i never use a real recipe...just throw in this and that. so, it has been on the stove now for about 4 hours and it starting to look like it is turning out just fine! we will have a taste tonight when aaron gets home. hoping to do more if mine ever ripen!update: GOOD stuff! too bad i don't ever bother writing down a recipe! so, the next batch will hopefully be just as good...but always different!
